Jason wrapped his music video up at 2 am last night (I bowed out early to try to counter some sicky feelings) and today we headed out to Cavite for Jason's first show. We also had our first police encounter today as our driver was pulled over for "overspeeding." Imagine our shock and confusion as we watched Kuya Louis (our driver) yell at the officer that he was in a hurry and that they were making him late. The style of the pull over was also quite unique as there were 12 officers standing on the side of the highway and 2-3 came and stood in front of the car to get our driver to pull over. After flashing a secret ID to the police (when we asked him what he showed he said his student ID haha) we were released without hassle. Kuya Louis was very upset that the police asked for his license because, "it's expired anyway ang kulit nila!" WTH man!

The Meet and Greet after also went well. A crowd lined up to have Jason sign their CD or Poster of him.

Jason's fans are wonderful here in the Philippines. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive, especially our Viva Family.
Now that his first show was over it was time to celebrate! Out with our resident party guide Nowie! First we set out for a Berroca event (the PI version of Emergen C) which worked out great because I'm sick and it was probably the only bar serving mass quantities of Vitamin C.
Then we went to the Imperial Ice Bar! There was an anti chamber with coats just like Narnia. We made Jason put on the white coat so we would all match, and after 2 seconds in the bar we turned around and he was gone. "The white jackets are for girls!"
Jason has started to get recognized on the streets and a few people asked for pictures with him while we were out. We topped off a great night with KFC at 1am. They serve rice with your chicken!
Tomorrow we leave for a day in Batangas! See you then!
